It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Risk Management Institution of Australasia Limited (RMIA) 7th Annual Conference, RMIA 2010.

This year we are delighted to return to Sydney to host the Conference at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, in the heart of the vibrant Darling Harbour.  

Each November, the RMIA Annual Conference and Exhibition is the focal gathering point of risk management professionals in the Asia-Pacific region, attracting delegates from all corners of the globe. Through this international forum for risk management education and learning, risk professionals are given the opportunity to exchange ideas and network among world leading specialists.

Your participation in RMIA 2010 is an important contribution to the global transfer of practical skills, knowledge and understanding. This represents a vital exchange of information from risk professionals and companies that have been able to achieve an extraordinary state of resilience in rebounding from the global economic crisis and who are striving to achieve “Risk Management Excellence: Better, Faster, Smarter” in an increasingly competitive environment.

For the seventh consecutive year RMIA is pleased to recognise the International Federation of Risk and Insurance Management Associations (IFRIMA) and the Federation of Asian, Pacific and African Risk Management Organisations (FAPARMO) as Official Supporters of RMIA 2010.
