The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre

The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre (SCEC) is the venue for the 2010 conference and exhibition and is situated in the heart of Sydney. Perfectly positioned in the hub of the lively Darling Harbour precinct, the Centre is surrounded by an array of key attractions that can be incorporated into any event, as well as a wide range of accommodation, restaurants, shops and entertainment. The venue is accessible by light rail, bus, ferry and monorail while ample parking is also available.

One of the largest venues in Australia, the world-class Centre offers more than 30 flexible meeting rooms, including Sydney's largest pillarless ballroom accommodating 1000 guests, a banquet hall and two auditoriums. There are also six exhibition halls offering 27,000 square metres of exhibition space which hosts some of Australia's largest public exhibitions and corporate events.

What's more, as a dedicated convention venue, the Centre has the ability to provide an all-inclusive service for events of all shapes and sizes, thanks to an in-house team of highly professional staff, including event organisers, audio-visual specialists and award-winning chefs.
